Akros K-Defense Components Manufacturing Index

The index tracks South Korean companies that manufacture components, subsystems, and materials used in defense platforms and weapons systems (e.g., precision machining, avionics and sensors, propulsion, electronics, munitions, and specialty materials). Constituents are selected from the KRX universe based on significant involvement in defense-supply manufacturing, with liquidity and investability screens applied. Weights follow a custom methodology designed to enhance thematic purity while managing concentration risk; the index is rebalanced quarterly.
