The index tracks U.S.-listed companies with the highest relevance to AI semiconductors, selected from NYSE and NASDAQ common stocks and ADRs. Constituents must meet minimum thresholds for market capitalization ($1B+) and liquidity (3-month average daily trading volume of $1M+), and be classified under AICS code 334 (Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing). Stock selection utilizes Akros's proprietary NEXUS thematic analysis engine to identify and rank companies by their AI semiconductor relevance. The top 3 ranked stocks receive fixed weights of 22%, 20%, and 20% respectively, while the remaining 7 constituents are weighted based on a combination of NEXUS similarity scores and float-adjusted market cap, subject to a 15% individual cap. The index is rebalanced quarterly and includes ad-hoc rebalancing triggers for weight limit breaches and significant new listings.
